Your First Visit to the myGannon Portal
 

Please Be Patient! The first time you login to the new portal you may experience some delay. The portal is building your new profile, connecting to your email and calendar. Subsequent logins should not experience this delay.

  • At the top of the screen you may see an ActiveX message:


    Click on the message and follow the prompts to install this ActiveX control.


Navigating the home page

  • Department pages have been categorized. Mouse over to display a dropdown menu.




Student Email Integration

  • The portal is integrated with your Live@edu account and checks every 10 minutes for new email.

Faculty / Staff Email Integration

  • The first time you login to the new portal, you will receive an error (see image).

  • Click on Enter your credentials
  • Enter your Network ID, Example: smith001
  • Enter your Password
  • Click on OK
  • Once the portal completes it's integration, the portal will check for new messages every 10 minutes.
  • Ignore this error message: Error retrieving data from Teaching and Learning
